WOW this is beautiful! I like this take on Vampires, definitely sets them farther apart from humanity.

The books that I've written that highlight Vampires follow the Bram Stoker depiction, with pinched and thin features, pale skin and long fingers. Generally, they can blend in without too much trouble. But they only drink blood, and only eat ashes. Their prime ancestors, however, are even further out of human proportion, looking rather like horses.
