technically, she killed him by accident. She didn't knew the creature was her best friend and tried to hide her agitation with bravado, hitting him hard and pushing him to the limit, causing the serum to stop his heart. was explained in the comic series

I feel that could be a great and interesting storyline that the "Web Warriors" series could look into.

In the Ultimate universe (1610) Gwen first died but came back then shortly afterwards Peter himself dies and Gwen responded while grieving "I'm cursed" (believing she somehow caused Peter to die by her existence).

Spider-Gwen (a Spider-Gwen from either Earth-65 or some other Earth) exist and is apart of the Web Warriors team and many times Gwen meets a new Spider hero the spider responds with shock and sadness seeing that version of Gwen due to what happened to their's (to a point it's starting to annoy Gwen to a certain point) or they go to a new Earth and discover the that Peter or other person who was Spider-Man has died yet Gwen lives (and some where both are dead.

With the concept of the "Web of Destiny" and the concept of magic maybe 1610 Gwen could have a point.  Something has affected the Web and thus causing these tragedies to happen to all Spider-heroes or their love ones bind to them til the thread/web is cut and it has something to do with a Multiverse Gwen and a Multiverse Peter at the center of it all.

That not just informing why some bad things happen but afterwards the villain is beaten and a ray of hope has begun for new worlds to be discovered where the possibility of both Peter and Gwen could be able to live and be heroes while the other exists.

Wow, nice theory. But if you watch a certain anime called Steins gate, I think its impossible for both of them to be alive in the same reality. Unless either both of them never be the spider or they never dated. It's a tragic story really.

He used the lizard formula in school after getting sick of being bullied and Gwen took him down. Details of the fight are still mostly obscure. But that scene is how it ended. Looks like Peter couldn't survive the the thrashing once the lizard formula wore off.  Oh and Harry wants to get the person responsible for killing his friend, so Gwen has that to deal with too.

Peter dying in her arms was her "Uncle Ben" moment, but for her it was a more painful lesson. For Peter 616 (Spider-MAn), he didn't saw his uncle dying, He came home after not stopping the robber and found out he got shot and died. Spider-Gwen on the other hand caused his death and witnessed him dying. THat will leave emotional scars on anyone.

Okay, the Peter Parker from there is from Earth-65, which in that world Gwen Stacy was bit by the radioactive spider instead of Peter. And because he was tired of being the classes first pick to bully he injected himself with Genetic Lizard DNA, which turned him into an evil,giant.overgrown lizard. And as you can imagine Peter ended up becoming a villain/couldn't control himself. So Gwen Stacy had to fight him, she tried her best to save him during the fight but ended up accidentally killing Peter. Ever since Peter's death she has become the new Spider hero, and decided that she would never let anyone else suffer the same fate that Peter Did. ((Note you can also look this up on Google, just type in 'Earth-65 Peter Parker' and it can give you a more detailed explanation.
