Very nice work! Baker is still my favourite (50' long scarf and a robot dog, what more can you ask for?!) but Tennant has filled the role wonderfully. And I've watched almost every episode right back to the very first.
I grew up watching reruns with my mom and brother... only ones I didn't see were some eps from the early days which had been lost and towards the end of the seventh Doctor I stopped watching. Never even knew there was an eighth until the new series came out with the ninth, though.
And now he's popular enough to have spin-offs!

Like you I stopped watching for a while, although from 1971 I rarely missed watching it every Saturday. Now I'm back to doing that again!

I used to watch that show when I was a kid. I remember the 4th one from the left. That's about it.
I'll have to try to watch one of the new ones to see if I like it. I've seen the new Battlestar Galactica and REALLY like that, but never got to watch much of it. Kind hard to catch up. LOL! But I don't think I'll ever catch up on Dr. Who. LOL! Would LOVE to, but no. Not happening. I would have to chain myself to a TV for a few years to do that. LOL!
Like Star Trek, I'm more of a fan of the "oldies". LOL!

I've really been impressed with Battlestar Galactica.
If you like that, I reckon there's a good chance you'll like Doctor Who.
The good thing about the new series is that you don't need to have watched the old series to understand what's going on. So no need to catch up, you can keep drawing instead....

I'll have to try to catch it the next time it's on the Sci Fi network then!! I'm already a Sci Fi Network junkie because of Ghost Hunters... and Battlestar Galactica! LOL!
As for drawing instead. I don't know if I can keep drawing for 16 hours straight right now. LOL! Maybe 8. I'll take a break and watch Dr. Who. At least that way, I won't miss anything NEW! LOL!
