Yeah. My great fear is doing 'cookie cutter' stuff...
realizing of course, that it's hard to re-invent oneself
with each piece we finish. But...we can try!

THANKS. Alex is one of the gutsiest guys I know. Costa Rica next week, for a
five-day visit to a 'girl' friend. And he has to be in Seattle WA for his 12-month
job with Americorp. (sniff) He seems undaunted, totally unlike me. He gets it from
his traveling mother, who was born with a boarding pass in her hand! Did you hear
about my home town Duluth (on Lake Superior)? Practically washed out from 11" of
rain a few nights ago. Unbelievable. Try YouTube -ing 'Duluth Flooding' or something
like that. WOW. Newer saw that when I was boy! More than a 'watery garden!'

It's not only our watery garden the whole of Cumbria was on a flood alert...and the Olympic torch was travelling down from there today...with all the people organising events!!..a washout!...The torch is coming past us on Sunday...forcast ....More rain!All the chidren are taking part in events ..
I'll try utube afterwards!!!!

Count me amongst the boring also. When you see these images of flooding in Duluth
~ not that you need to see any MORE flooding! ~ we are witnessing Global Climate Change,
and the costs in lives and money is only going to worsen as time passes. Wait 'til the
coastal cities start flooding!!! NYC, LA, London ~ imagine that cost. Well, I can hardly
wait for the excitement of London and the Olympics! ....on a brighter note...

I found it on the news!...It looks terrible!!!.....
At the same time I saw that the part of the motorway we were supposed to be going on tonight is closed(flooded)....On a happier note Wimbledon is starting on Monday!!!...and centre court is covered in so even if it rains there will be some tennis!
