One of my favourite aliens from doctor who. At one moment, you feel extremely sorry for them, and then the next moment you are absolutely terrified of them.
Great deviation, definately faving this one.

One of the few (okay, one of two) Ood fan pieces that's original looking, as the rest are too much like copied photos; it also has a simplistic, old literature feel, like some 1920s pulp magazine or a Victorian news paper cartoon.
And of course the Ood are wonderful creations and the only monster / alien from the new series to not only return by popular viewer demand, but also under a different writer; something that hasn’t happened since the original show!
Also, I love the avatar BTW, not many artists can make fun of themselves in such a humorous, explosion-related way.

Great ink work! Love the use of texture here. I have just seen the thumbnail of this drawing over at [link] and thought it was a drawing of Neil Gaiman's Sandman, with the helmet he had in the early issues. Seeing it full size they made me think of a mix between that and one of the characters from Futurama. Anyway, fantastic desing!
