Very interesting shot. Would you mind if I used a cropped version for a non-commercial avatar or logo of some sort...have formed a group of mountain bikers called "the red hen gang" and I think this hen could well fit into our group! I would give attribution, of course.

I went to the county fair today. This shot was in the back of my mind at I entered the small animal building. Roosters are harder than h*ll to get a good photo of! They were afraid of the camera being so close and also kept moving. I haven't looked on the memory card yet, but I am certain they are all blurry or in a non-regal capture.

I know! These were my aunt and uncle's birds, so you'd think they wouldn't be shy, but it was still hard to get just this.
