How much planning do you generally do before you start? How much of this is just you winging it?

haha interesting question...usually I just do a quick sketch and start making. Though for this piece I had to work out how I was gonna get lights through but apart from that, yeah mostly winged it

It looks sophisticated enough that you should tell people you had to make exact blueprints, then you could sell them for a ton, lol.
