First off I used a template like the ones found here for this>www.google.com/search?q=lego+t…In this AU Cole and little Lloyd are both sweet-stealing criminals. The Candy Kid being Lloyd and Cole being The phantom Cake-Napper. (Name needs work.) I imagine them to be like the villains in Wordgirl. All about flair and performing but despite being thieves are just as sweet as the sweets they steal. (Or try to steal.) Took me a long time to figure out the color palette for Candykid but after a long time of struggling, I finally got the inspiration I needed from this old Candyland movie that was on youtube. The backgrounds were amazing. I'm very proud of Cole's weapon here. The designs are built around story. Like Cole being a dancer. Lloyd's is made to complement Cole's but also has it's own lore to it. I kinda want to make a whole comic about this AU. Anyone on board?
So tell me are these designs eye candy or more of an eye sore? Who do you like best? Anything that you would add or do different? How do you imagine them as villains? Feedback is greatly appreciated.
