Still at it with the Convoy tribute I see. Good looking update.

Lol, yeah. It's stuck in my head now. I'll always think of these ships as "space trucks" now.

At one point in the song 'Convoy', you hear the guy say 'with a thousand screaming trucks'. The 'screaming trucks' was referring to all those trucks having 2-stroke diesels like in the vid I linked up.

As a 'space truck' then, maybe this is what the Warp Drive sounds like in the engine room: [link] At low warp, it would be sounding the way the truck engine sounds at low revs/idle. The engine in the truck is an old-style 2-stroke diesel engine that has a much higher-pitched 'scream' to it then the diesels in huge trucks today.

This computer never worked right from day 1, but I never got the dreaded bsod before. I've tried everything I know about to fix it including reformatting the HD and reinstalling Windows. I'm starting to think it's a defective hardware issue.

BTW, I DL'd it, loaded it up, and still have the issues with DAZ that I detailed earlier. Drell-7 tried it in DAZ and Poser. No problems in Poser, but he verified the DAZ issues. If I use it I guess I'll have to keep the ambient maps off and postwork the "Mid Eng" materials if they're in view. Bummer.... I really love how the ambient maps look when they work right!

Did you try the "Poser Scene" version?

Nope. Not yet. I'll look into that, but Drell-7 was saying he may have found the solution to at least the geometry problem. I assume you got his letter?

Just a simple idea, may not be your problen but seen something similar on one of my gamers machines recently and it turned out that the chip cooler had an intermittent fault causing it to overheat going into autoshutdown to protect processor integrity. Check the cooling?
