Description Archery is not very widely employed within the Empire, but it's effect is not underestimated. As such the Arcaran Arcus employs a strong hand-bow for both volley-fire and marksmanship. They typically hail from the mountaineous north of and east of the empire, where hunting is a practice taught to both boys and girls at a young age. They use a pine-wood hand-bow, leather armour, sometimes with additional padding to protect against blunt blows if the situation calls for it, in addition they come equipped with an arming-swords for melee-engagements.

From the border-territories, and the cities hail the Praeventorii, light infantry-fighters clad in leather and sometimes chainmail. They are used against rebellions and for skirmishes in territory that makes the heavy infantry-tactics of the legionnaires ineffective or too rigid for effectively combating the threats pitted against them. In addition the Praeventorii are also used as an interception-force meant to "prevent" enemy war-parties from reaching important strategic or civil-points. They wear light-armour, carry reinforced round-shields far more effective than any other of it's sort on the continent, and are armed with an arming-sword for combat. they also usually have a dagger known as a "pugio" behind their shields as a backup.

The Arcaran empire, Praeventorii and Arcaran archer, the props they use and the models themselves belong to me, if you wish to borrow any prop from my armoury feel free to ask.Ā

XD thanks.Ā

and well, if the redshirts in ST wore anything more than fashionable black and red shirts and a remote control, they could perchance have a higher chance of survival? X3

Granted, i had a clear example for this, that really helps. I used the leather Imperial armour from Skyrim as a reference-point.Ā vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/eā€¦

Whenever i have something i want to work with i am usually able to do it a lot quicker and better. Happy accidents create awesome stuff as well when i accidentally move stuff around in kisekae and it takes a cool shape, though i prefer working with direction.

Fascinating.
Such is the path of inspiration and accidental success.
