I think they managed to make something completely original...
I even read about "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen", "The Black Dossier", where Ms. Peel takes on a womanizer Jimmy Bond and wins (of course!).Β Oh, and "Mother" was that scoundrel, Harry Lime (The third man)... and it was ambiented in England under "Big Brother".Β
