This looks more like a dark skinned wood elf than a dark elf ... and I dont really thing the skeletons work with the image, that aside I think it's well done

I like this image alot- but found the elements of Skeletal creatures not in fully tied into the image- as if they are an afterthought- the butterfly background is great- the other disconcerting element was the valve wheel- it left me wondering why it was included- perhaps another version of this image minus the elements that take the viewer away from the main focus would be a plausible experiment- changing the color(s) of the Butterflies toward the ultra blue end of the color wheel would fit more into the title as well. Nice premise-

That's the best I think--if there's a story behind it, I feel like it always appears in the picture. There's always a little something left of it, that tells the viewer: "sure you won't come up with the same thing as the artist, but now you know it's not just some random pic either".
