Funny thing with feathers...
So, I've been on a spiritual awakening in the last few weeks and I was trying to see if I had a guardian angel, and after doing several things to learn its name... I gave up. No name, no nothing. All of a sudden I started finding pigeon feathers, hard to pull out feathers all over.
So, feathers and me are interestingly linked the last few weeks.

These are crow feathers. We've got about a half dozen of them that frequent the neighborhood. There was a brief period where I kept finding their feathers in the year...I have six large ones and about that many smaller ones. Their a beautiful blue black. I don't know what they might mean. I imagine in Native American cultures they have some spiritual significance for sure.

CROW- Crow tail feathers are given to boys that have just gone through manhood. The feather indicates the he "wants to be a warrior."
so far this is what I could find out about crow feathers specifically..eagle feathers seem to have more significance and there's a lot of info on them.

Wonderful shot....it reminds me of my daughter when she was 4 or 5 asking me one morning why we cannot fly...I gave her an answer and she said: in my dreams I always fly. She is an art student now...I hope she soars!
