Les reflets dans les tours sont tout simplement superbes !
Je suis vraiment admiratrice de ton travail, tout est si bien équilibré.
De plus le grand angle ici amplifie l'impression de gigantesque !

the same theme, again from another perspective!
the buildings like the strict authority, with all its strenght. and the people is so little and weak in proportion to the buildings...(but don't forget, that the the buildings were constructed and built by the people!)

This piece has the same effect on me as standing on the top of a mountain - makes you feel kinda small and meaningless, doesn't it.
Good work!

Thanks a lot for the comment. As i said I've hesitated for a long time before adding it to the serie. And i think the title would have been something with this idea in it if i wouldn't have added it to the 'la Défense' serie.

I'm thinking maybe I fav'd the wrong picture. Even if it isn't consistent with the other photographs, it's still a beautiful shot.

c'est vrai que c'est peut etre sur celle ci que la prise de vue est la plus impressionante... mais je prefere qd meme les autres qui sont plus impressionantes de par leurs couleurs et du reflet du ciel sur les parois...

mmmm... tu l'as modifiée ?
elle me parait bcp plus lumineuse qu'hier soir avec la partie se refletant dans l'immeuble de gauche qui semble plus ensoleillee
(ou alors p't'etre que j'avais pas les yeux en face des trous)

It's amazing, the same as the others. Do you happen to know what purpose the buildings serve? Office buildings? Government buildings? I was just wondering because the center building reminds me very much of the federal buildings here in Chicago. Almost fortress-esque, I suppose. I love glass high rise architecture, it's absolutely stunning! Another sucess for you!

The only reason I was asking was because of it's likeness to the Federal Buildings here. I know a lot of people in Chicago have very strong opinions of the Federal Buildings, they're are all black glass facade buildings that really gives a sense of foreboding. Many people here take strong negative opinions to them, calling them "Representational of what is wrong in our governmental system". I was just curious if it was the same elsewhere in the world or if it's just Chicago with sticks up their butts, haha!

Well i guess in France it's exactly the contrary. No skyscrapers, and most of the time it's an old (and luxuous) building of Paris. OK there is one building which is a bit austere and cold - the 'Ministère de l'Economie et des Finances'...
But France is not exactly comparable with the US for political and administrative aspects. So the buildings don't mean the same thing i think.

Very very true point. I've never been to France myself, but I would love to see it someday. When I graduate with my photography degree, I plan on travelling and photographing the places I've always wanted to see. (Haha, wild dreams.) Honestly, I hadn't been interested in Paris before (Sans the Louvre. I'm such a museum buff), but this series of photos has totally gotten me on the need to see it for myself. I'm such an architecture fan, and these buildings are just... phenomenal.
