Description Do you know how slow it was at work today?
THIS SLOW! :\/
I actually had time to draw a full page (well, three quarter page, since part of the paper had been torn off, thus the horrible black jagged line at the top) comic!
And there was still time left over for staring blankly off into space. :I

None of it was really planned out. You probably guessed that though, seeing as it's so hard to read.
The words are all shoved together in weird places, the style and character designs seem to change from picture to picture, and the panel layout is not so much.

You see, I drew panel 4 first, just as a random scared Wheatley doodle. Then I sort of started working my way back until I had the first 3. Then I abandoned it as finished for about an hour. During which I answered one phone call and turned the sauna on for someone. Woo hoo.

Then I came back and drew the last four panels.
THEN I got so bored I brought out the highlighters, as well as a blue and red pen.

And that's pretty much it! :I

OH!
This is of course (because I might be a bit obsessed) a scene from Blue Sky. I've wanted to do a comic about it ever since I first read it. That was a really intense chapter. :0

so anyway, APOLOGIES TO WAFFLEGUPPIES FOR DESECRATING YOUR BEAUTIFUL STORY WITH THIS DOODLE DRIVEL SIMPLY BECAUSE I WAS TOO BORED FOR WORDS! ;A;

I dunno. I seem to be able to draw faces really well (or, Wheatley's face anyway) but figures and poses completely elude me. So I'm not sure if I could survive drawing a for real comic. ;A;

Hmm. I'm not really sure what I would need in terms of help.
I guess if you know of any good sites or exercises for practicing figure drawing, that would be fantastic!

Haha! Yeah, I've had this comic (or one roughly like it) in my head ever since I read that chapter. Great minds think alike, huh?

Thanks!
I really suck at drawing different perspectives on faces. So it started out as a bit of practice. Then suddenly there was a comic. O__O

With all due respect, how the hell do you still get paid working at a place that is so slow a comic can be made in the middle of a work day? XD

It was an atypical day, believe me. :\
Usually during the week you don't have two seconds to catch your breath. It just so happens that I tend to get the slowest shifts. Friday and saturday evenings are always dead dead dead, because there are no classes going on in the gym, and most people spend the weekend doing other things.

I was there for six hours, and I think I only answered the phone like three times. And there couldn't have been more than twenty five people who came in to workout the whole time. I did have to fill out one form for someone. That took like, two solid minutes.

Oh jeez, but still! Better than a constant rush!

That is true!
Though I will admit, when you're standing around with not a lot to do, your brain kind of goes on standby, and it takes a while to reboot when you actually do have to help someone with something. :I
