Description A picture of dragon who is preparing his mask for Samhain celebration.

Samhain is a pagan holiday that is celebrated on October 31. It marks the end of Summer and the beginning of Winter.
In the past, Samhain was a festival for the time between the old year and the new year. It was a time for having bonfires and playing tricks. It was also thought a time when people could make contact with departed loved ones and foretell the future.

I can do lot of things but in my oppinion pencil is quite boring medium. I prefer coloured pictures.

Ten dráček je vážně boží, nemá chybu. Asi by ale vypadal lée, kdyby to pozadí bylo trochu kontrastivnější (tmavší a jednolitější - možná by pomohlo trochu rozetřít tu tužku pomocí papírového kapesníčku? Mně dělají tyhle jednolité plochy taky problémy, tak to prosím neber jako nějaké rýání. Ten obrázek se mi jako celek hrozně zamlouvá

Já vím, snažila jsem se udělat to pozadí co nejtmavší, fakt jsem si na tom odrovnala málem ruku. Hold tyhle celistvé plochy mi moc nejdou, ještě to budu muset trénovat

J8 se tomu záměrně vyhýbám, takže dělám pozadí nějak strukturovaná, když už teda vezmu do ruky tužku ))) ALe je fakt, že tady by nějaké takové pozadí asi vypadalo podivně. Jestli přijdeš na nějaký dobrý fígl, jak na to, tak jsem jedno velké ucho

Tak tvůj náad s kapesníčkem a rozmazáním vyšel. Snažila jsem se to nějak zpravit a teď to vypadá v reálu o hodně lí.

Ha, to jsem ráda A souhlasím, vypadá to pěkně
Jinak to není ani tak můj náad (abych si nepřivlastňovala cizí zásluhy), docela dost výtvarníků, kteří pracují s tužkou, to využívá... Já jsem měla ze střední zafixováno, že správný výtvarník nikdy nerozmazává, protože to není umělecké Jenomže třeba fotorealistická kresba se bez toho neobejde Ale většinou to vyžaduje hladší papír...

No nám právě taky za to rvali hlavy, když jsem u stínování rozmazávali, tak mě to ani nenapadlo Ale v takových pžíadech je to užitečná věc.

Nám teda nadávali za ledacos - hlavně za detailní a realistickou tvorbu. Ehm. Neměli mě na střední rádi Myslím, že z mojí současné tvorby by ty profesory asi kleplo

Co? Ty blaho. Já nevím co si teda myslí, že všichni budou dělat abstrakce? Já teda realistickou tvorbu obdivuju, stejně jako ty, co si dají tu práci, hrát si s detaily. Já teda nikdy na žádnou školu s výtvarným zaměřením nechodila, jen do takového "kroužku" na ZUŠ, kde mě toho teda moc nenaučili

No jo já se taky raději vyhýbám takovýmu typu pozadí, jenže nechtělo se mi tady hrát s nějakým složitým pozadím a když bych ho nechala bílé, zase by to ztratilo tu atmosféru. No aspň jsem si vyzkoušela po dlouhé době jak moc mi to s tužkou jde nebo nejde

This picture is great! More than great. Epic might fit it better. Maybe I don´t go to see other artists doing pencils or they are just not that good, but this is the best pencilwork I´ve seen in some time. Say, the dragon has a Gaelic symbol with him or two. Why doesn´t it have a torgue though?

I don't think this pic is as great as everybody says. It was really difficult to draw this black backround... well I'm not quite satisfied with it. Actually this pic was quite fast drawing and I didn't suppose that everybody will be excited it.

Yeah I tried to put in some celtic symbols but I didn't think about torque at all.

I´ll let you keep your opinion about your picture and I´ll keep mine. For black background you can´t do wrong with a stub of a really soft pencil as I had my own experience. I still think this one is very well done.
