Description A3 sized pencil drawing

Something I've been working on while I've been off work sick. I thought I should address the lack of dragons in my gallery, not that this is typical dragon art. In my rush to try and finish this, I missed giving the baby dragon his wings. Oops.

Yes. Very, very strange.

I must agree that the dessert looks luscious.

Nice work. Impressed with the amount of detail you've got into this.

Maybe the young dragon's baby-wings have fallen out recently and the new ones will be poking through in a few days

It's good for us to be reminded from time to time that you really are quite strange.

lol, i love the lance / skewer with the trussed chicken and pickle - i wonder if he'd need to crack open the armor shell before eating of just chew thru it ;D

A baby dragon with no wings?!? What's the world coming to! I will let you off this time but will definitely inform Dragonwatch if this travesty happens again!

CaroleHumphreys In reply to PhilipHarvey [2012-05-15 20:44:01 +0000 UTC]

I best hide from Dragonwatch. At least I provided the dragon family with a hearty meal

There's no hiding from Dragonwatch once they are informed.. trust me you do not want to incur their wrath! but as you say the dragons ate well so this went in your favour, this time.

I guess baby dragons grow into their wings?
This is funny.
The maiden doesn't look too upset though (maybe she's dreaming she's somewhere else with the knight?)

Clearly, baby dragons grow into their wings in their early teens, causing a painful and cranky puberty. Love this piece!

top left - Why did they leave perfectly good humans to rot away to the bones? Also open fire cooked knights are better when done in armor - this way the parts sticking out don't get charred. Virgin Olive Oil in a jar is a nice detail. I am sure "Princess Pie" mentioned in the cook book calls for that.

Hehe thanks. I think the skeletons serve as ornaments, just as humans might put flying duck ornaments on the wall

Awesome! Though I'm inclined to think she ought to be helping them roast the knight over an open flame. I mean, who doesn't like the kitchen aid of having canned food handy?
