I uh. I may have thought the date on this was the 31st and not the 30th, oops. Speedrun time, I say, as I still decided to paint both these two and their reflection separately. By hand. :') I did all of this in one sitting (of like, 6-7 hours) while listening to Darkeater Midir's theme. Dark Souls OST is a powerful drug ig.
Anyways, considering that, I am very proud of how this turned out!! There's a couple inconsistencies if you look closely, and I didn't totally render out my sketch, but it's fine. Perspective is always my bane, so it was fun to try more wacky angles.

No proper story because I'm out of braincells, but Matteo and Disintegration are just here to have some fun. (They're not normally endurance runners.) This is from the start of their trip, where they're in it for speed. They'll figure out pretty quickly that speed is not the most attainable for a horse that's a novice to the endurance world. Oh well! At least there's glamping set up at every checkpoint -- perfect for these two. (Dissie would throw an absolute FIT if she had to stay one night in the great outdoors without at least some fresh hay and warm blanket.)
