Assignment: Create a cover for a young adult novel
I wouldn't call Waylander a young adult novel. It's just been so long since I've been a young adult. He agreed to this tho.
I tried using Jon's technique. It is even more impressive after you try to do it.

Cool rendering of a young Waylander (though he was still Dakeyras at that age, but that kind of continuity blip didn't prevent the original Superboy tales, so who cares)!

Lovely work on this one backlit figures give me such a headache haha, I'd say Gemmell's books are definitely suitable for young adults though. They're what opened me up to the genre.

It is suitable for young adults, maybe just not exactly what they had in mind for the project.
