I don't know very much about these characters, but as I looked at them and drew them, I thought they felt very much like mother and daughter, or perhaps even the same person, as a girl and as a grown woman... I get a very warm feeling from them, and as the requested theme of this painting was "comfort", I hope I was able to convey that feeling well.
Partly drawn in hospital with Jill and Tony. The doctors were very kind, and the window was a nice place to be able to sit, even if they were tearing up the concrete outside.

kinda crazy to think about.... how're your classes going? I'm going to miss mine! ;> I landed some really sweet professors and classmates thsi quarter, which I think really makes the class.

you've always added elements of innocence and Child-like-purity in your drawings~Β

Wow. Just... wow.
Usually your art has this kind of happy and lighthearted feel to it, which probably has a lot to do with the way you draw.
But this piece? It has a certain... grip over me. I can really sense the feeling of the picture, and the emotion between the characters is very... genuine? I can't find a good word for it.
All in all, I'm thoroughly impressed. (Or as Konata would put it: "Uzuki-san, GJ!")

Thanks so much for saying so! I also felt this drawing was a bit deeper and stronger than usual, but I didn't expect other people to catch on to those emotions so clearly ... it's really nice.
