I remember that there was a Fanfiction written based off of this picture, anyone know what I'm talking about? It was just like a two chapter story about them supporting each other through the torture. Great art by the way 💞💞

Leo looks on the brink of death. You know, despite his own grevious injuries, Raphael is crazy to get to Leo and help him. In SAINW (from the The Real World movie), it does not go into detail about how Raph wound up with but one eye and Leo blind, so I guess you can figure the bad guys caught them, tortured them, and somehow they escaped (maybe with Mikey's help). Donnie was MIA because he was not transported to the same dimension as his brothers for this time line "reality." This part of the movie was VERY HARD for me to watch. They were all so serious, so bitter, and almost distrusting of each other with Leo and Raphael nearly hating each other. Very tough for Turtle fans to see them all die with only Donnie standing after the dust settled. Thankfully, they are all back together, healthy and whole by the end of the movie.
Very disturbing picture, but definitely something to bring a lump to your throat. Good art.

This is incredible piece of work and you couldn't have captured this moment in better words. You are absolutely right and I was extremely hard to watch this episode, to see how the world had completely flipped upside down and to see how it impacted Don't character was even more heartbreaking. I can see him waking up in the middle of the night, screaming in fear of the memories of SAINW. I can see his brothers all rushing in and holding him as tears falling down his face, with only one thought in his mind...
I can't let this happen....

What? Raphie lost his eye and Leo was blind?!? I haven't seen the '03 series yet. If Nick puts them like this in the show, I will cry my heart for (mostly) Raphie and Leo.

And not for just them (my opinion only). Mikey lost his freaking arm AND became like Leo Jr. . And nobody knew where Donnie was, 'cos he just disappeared one day and was never found (I have a feeling he either got captured or died though. Or both)

73th episode of the 2003 series, called "Same as it never was", or "SAINW" an episode set in the future whee donnie's dead/vanished, splinter's dead, leo's blind, raph lost an eye, mikey lost an arm, shredder is ruling... good times.
