The incredible again folks.some day...I will give you a taste of what *really* goes on during photo shoots with her. the laughing barely stops long enough to get the serious pictures in sometimes.

I love the shot.. seems so clean.. like she just stepped out of the shower or something... i can smell the herbal essence.. or whatever shampoo she used.... The way the hair is done is SUPERB !!! how did you accomplish that might i ask ?
I do tend to agree with :judas-christ: though.. the edges around the cheek do seem to need a little dressing up...then again im no professional..
But overall .... TERRIFIC !!! i LOVE IT !!!

Yeah Photoshop can be a real pain to learn... Ive been working with it for only about 4 months and i still have SO MUCH to learn !!!
Thankfully i have an SUPERB teacher though !!! =starfantazy She amazes me with her skill in it !!! Everything i know i learned from her !!!

I do know her personally, she's a pretty awesome gal. I love your work, Jewel's been showing me pictures since you started taking pictures together and it's pretty much why I come on this website all the time. That and its fab.

awesome lighting...excellent skin tone
only one thing i personaly would have changed..i would have given the skin more of a uniform..."texture" for lack of a better word..not sure if it's the shadows or what but the skin looks...a little "grainy" or something around the edges of the cheeks and chin area....
other than that minor detail..excellent as always
and i only said that becuase of the advanced critique..heh

if you have PS7 try the heal brush..but be careful next to dark area's..lol
blur works ok if not OVERdone
if you have a tablet..and sometime
i find "painting" with the smudge brush works really well...blending as you would with oil colors or something...hope i helped

There's wonderful clarity in this portrait, framed extremely well. I think you've got a superb piece here. I don't know why I'm drawn to comment on it, but I definitely like the addition of the pixel-thin white border in the frame between the image and the black border...it nicely separates the two without having the dark shadows of the hair blending into the border.
Excessive commentary that has nothing to do with the picture itself... ahh, my most useful critique powers. I miss the trivia rooms.
