HERE IT IS, MY MAGNUM OPUS. MY MASTERPIECE.

Ahem, a-nyways. This was a piece I started on a whim because I wanted to draw that type of art in which the character's face is partially covered by birds' wings, but ended up going overboard (lol). I finished this on April 1st a.k.a April Fools and also the first day of my National Exams lol kill me. There's also a second version that looks even more eerie than this.

This character is Corvus a.k.a The Raven, Messenger of Hell in the Demon-Angel-verse of my OCniverse! That's a mouthful.

He's a direct subordinate to Mortis and is the most loyal to him, some even say that Corvus is Mortis' hidden right-hand-man. In this 'verse, all of the common ravens all over the multiverse are actually his "eyes" and are all parts of him (and so all the Angels in the 'verse hates black birds so much, the racists (jk)). Also being a bird-man, his hair will all end in feathers if he let them grow long enough (though he hates having long hair, with the exception of his bangs for reasons that'll be disclosed real soon).

He's actually one of the hardiest Demons with the only one able to overpower him being Mortis. Though that doesn't mean that he's especially strong per se, he just has really good defensive abilities. He isn't affected with getting attacked by Angels that much compared to other Demons (even Mortis), as his black wings and flocks of raven can block light-based attacks well. Except for this one time an Angel managed to lower his guard and caused an injury to his left eye, making the eye /really/ sensitive to light, and he hates that so much he ended up covering it with his feathers/hair. This is also the reason he has a personal vendetta against Angels and started his irrational fascination of ripping the wings off Angels and collecting the feathers in sadistic amusement.

By the way, drawing wings and feathers are so tiring orz. In total, I think I drew like ten wings in this entire work, with six up front and the rest (4) behind him. This is also the biggest piece I've worked on, both the file size and the actual size of the piece are extremely big...lol. Seriously, over 5 mb and over 2000x3000 pixels. What the heck :'D. So much for trying to up the quality by using the real size of the original photo ww, at least it looks as decent as it is excessively l a r g e;;

(I kinda want to make a print out of this... but would anyone be interested in buying, I wonder)

Awrite, that's it for today! I still have a bit of pending works I haven't uploaded but let's wait a minute as I have another exam later this weekend (´･ω･`). I'll see y'all later!
