She's very agressive and rude with people that she don't know. Is not afraid of tell someone what she thinks. Is a serious girl, doesn't make jokes and don't laugh of them. She used to be positive and cheerful, a very happy person and very extrovert, but turned into introvert, aggressive and very embittered.

History

She's Riko's childhood friend, their fathers were partners at the basketball team, her father was manager. Started to play basketball at 11 years old, and Takeshi trained her. Riko and her, weren't at the same middle school, and in the school she joined, there was a basketball team. At that age, her abilities as a player became very impressive, for that reason, Takeshi thought to send Haruka to USA, and become a professional player there. But it couldn't be possible, because in one match, she passed out. The reason was that she have tachycardia. Doctors at hospital didn't know the reason of the arrhythmia, and they forbade her to practice sports to be in a team, just the necessary exercise to be healthy. She get depressed, and her positive and cheerful personality, changed into a negative and aggressive one. Didn't want to have any contact with basketball teams again. Riko was really helpful for her, to recover from that situation, but Haruka never changed her new personality at all, just with her. Haru used to have long brown hair, but she cut it symbolizing a new life. Her father decided to inscribe her in Seirin, so Riko and Haruka could be together. When Riko joined to the basketball team, she didn't want to be on it, unless Riko insisted her. So Haruka just met the team weeks before Teppei got hurt in a match, Riko forced her to go to the gym to see them, hoping she fall in love with basket again or the team could change her. But after the accident with Teppei, she understood that basketball just makes you get hurt. When Kuroko, Kagami and the other newbies joined in the team, Riko needed Haruka to help her with the technique, after many conversations and seeing the potential of the new members, she decided to help and become a manager.
