This is a big drawing that will take a while to finish sooooo I just gotta post this wip!

robots are hard to draw bc 99% of the things people call details in my art is just me trying to cover up for my crimes of not knowing how to draw with a dip pen neatly, such as the ink blot shown. a good amount of the waves and lining cover things like this up. this is easier to cover up in subjects such as this, a collossal raging dragon, as opposed to like, an alien robot that we expect to be a lot more angular with clean cut lining.

plus, line detail tends to distract most people from little flaws. line detail one would put on a robot would have to be much more thinner and concise than what would be on a dragon. and i cant stand myself when i dont attempt to put details on robots, even if it makes me wanna just whine. hence why i have not been drawing robots or Cybertronians lately, it takes a while and stresses me out? but not drawing them stresses me out too??

on another note, im kinda upset i cant take any art classes! i chose architecture to fill the void bc it was open….that could be fun too? esp since i never like draw buildings or measure anything on my own…unpopular thought, I like going to school and studying…not the whole talking to people stuff tho bc imma hermit…

also kinda wishing to get a drawing tablet. if i could do layers, there could be tons of cool details i could add to drawings. plus, colors. but i guess using the dip pen is fine for now…
