Back in 1997, I made several swimsuit drawings of popular anime characters at that time for submission to Animerica, an anime magazine available in the US. One of them was Misato Katsuragi from Neon Genesis Evangelion. I'm glad she made it on the list - she's practically the only I liked in that series.Anyways, Misato was originally in a one-piece (no, not the anime ^_~) which was kinda boring, I thought, for Misato so I jazzed it up by giving her this nice two-piece plus putting a nice touch (and focus) at a certain part of her anatomy and balancing it out with some ankle bracelets. Can you tell this is one of my fav's? ^___^

the reason she wears a one piece is to hide the scar on her abdomen. If you want authenticety you should remember that.

I colored it with colored pencil a long time ago. I know I saved the pic but I misplaced it somewhere... must be in one of the many binders I have...
But anyways - I'll have a full blown CG image sometime in the near future so, as Gollum would say, "patience my precious - patience".
