Back in 1997, I made several swimsuit drawings of popular anime characters at that time for submission to Animerica, an anime magazine available in the US. This is NOT one of them - that I recall, anyways.

I remember Animerica's fanart submissions! I always looked forward to reading Animerica, even though back then I was a newb, and didn't know half of what it was talking about. XP
Sometimes I liked the fanart but also a lot of the time I thought things like, 'if I drew fanart, mine would be better'...well, that's how all fanart submissions are. Like Shonen Jump nowadays.

Yeah, I'm looking at the fan arts in Shonen Jump and Shojo Beat and I'm thinkin' - wow, I wonder what would happen if I submitted artwork...? I'd probably get a lot of folks to try harder! Or crush their hopes. XD So no fan art submissions from me for now...
