Description HDR + TM - Photomatix, Photoshop

HDR made of 5 RAW images (shot with an Olympus E-510)

Noise Reduction and edge smoothing in Photoshop
(there was a lot of noise in the picture because it was so dark in there ... those candles were the only light source!!!)

Eberbach Abbey is a former Cistercian monastery near Eltville am Rhein in the Rheingau, Germany. On account of its impressive Romanesque and early Gothic buildings it is considered one of the most significant architectural heritage sites in Hessen, Germany.

In the winter of 1985/86 the interior scenes of the film
"The Name of the Rose" were filmed here.

Ja, das war so verrauscht, weil's so dunkel war da drin...
Dachte erst, dass bringt nix, ist dann aber doch noch ganz gut geworden.

Das Foto musste sogar blind geschossen werden, weil dieser Raum mit einem Gittertor abgesperrt war. Deshalb das Stativ durch das Gitter geschoben, Kamera draufgesteckt und blind geknipst^^
