I don't remember the exact date but it was sometime around the spring of 2011 I think.
ahh but even so its still super rad! I didnt even know that was a field you could major in!!
The SCAD campus is very cool!! It's all mixed in with the city so the entire city of Savannah is basically the campus. Theres a lot of really old buildings. I have to bus to most of my classes but the majority of student activities that I do are within walking distance of my dorm so its pretty nice~ It gets super muggy from time to time but lately its been pretty nice out (although I think theres a topical storm thats supposed to hit near us soon).
and haha there's nothing wrong with it! I just dont think parts of it are all that fun. Like I mentioned earlier, I love character modeling and sculpting, but I hate HATTTEEE rigging, UV layouts are a pain in the butt, and I quite frankly never found the actual animating part of 3D all that exciting or interesting. I was lucky enough to get to take a couple animation classes in highschool and senior year we had to make a short 2 minute animation. I just found the actual animating part of it to be very tedious and not all that fun (but then again maybe that was due to the fact that I did a horrible rigging job on my character ugh).
