Thanks for the tutorial! I am kinda surprised you changed the original blueish green color to the green it is now, as I personally find it detracts from the rest of the color scheme and the work itself--stands out too much. The original color was more harmonious while still striking and didn't "compete" visually.

Every artist has their own growth to improve on. She has a ton of knowledge to share in this 6 part tutorial but for Lisa it seems like she needs to learn more control in her colors and highlights. You're right about the blue being being more harmonious and it would have still been been alright with turquoise if it wasn't used as a dominant color in the painting. That falls under learning design, where it would have been good as an accent color used sparingly.

I love this tutorial but have to honestly agree the blue was much better looking. But I've been learning some very cool things!
