Your Pain is awesome! If anyone comments otherwise, they don't get his character at all! The Akatsuki aren't perfect people with great moral standards... Pain is an arrogant ass, to the point where it sometimes is his weakness. The rest of them are the same way- they have flaws, and that's what makes them interesting characters. People shouldn't downplay those flaws too much, because they are what make the Akatsuki what it is.Β
But Pain has good points too, and a soft side. It's just not obvious, since he's around people who piss him off XDΒ
