Yeah, this is basically based around the events of "Road to Ninja: Naruto the Movie" and it does end up being combined with the XY episode "The Cave of Mirrors!" as a result. Also yes, the Naruto Shippuden episode "Road to Sakura" also occurs during Kalos as well since it ties in with the movie in question, I mean it would be good for Ash and Misty to bond with one another as it does make up for the fact Misty was a mermaid from "Jirachi Wish Maker" all the way to "Searching For a Wish!" thus allowing the two to have a lot of catching up to do during their travels through the latter portion of the Decolore Islands and all of Kalos onwards. Also in all honesty, "Road to Ninja" is actually my favorite Naruto movie in my opinion so my friend and I thought that it could be given a chance to have some love here in Pokemon Ninja Trainers since Naruto and Sakura will finally end up with one another here. In any case, I hope you like how this looks and I can imagine Ash sharing a kiss with Misty as the sun sets while assuring her about things might start finally getting to normal now that she's back.
