Back then, I really adored the anime style. Thought I'd grow up to be an anime artist. xD But at one point, I began to study statues/busts and face structure; reproducing bust-sketches and really pay extra attention to facial proportions. I then incorporated what I learn from realism and merged it with anime(?) I've also practiced drawing BJDs, they're a bit unrealistic, but it has a nice touch of "anime" in it. Idk, it's a matter of time and experience. (This phase took about 1.5 years)

The transformation it seems is from a troublemaker/player with a "switch personality" and good grades, to a very self-confident hipster...with good grades xD looks great though~ *He probably has a huge fanclub that stalks him*

Almost every single element is greatly improved and looks much more realistic. The anatomy, facial proportions, folds in the fabric, shading and shadowing (including where you choose to place shadows), and most obviously the hair. You have made great progress indeed.
