Last year I managed to visit Lisbon and Evora, but had only a week there. A few in my gallery pictures are from Lisbon, this [link] one is what some friends like

Well... for me it was somehow similar to Prague, the city I've been living in for over 3 years. What's similar? Size, planned development from 19th century (I mean Baixa; in Prague it's a big younger, Vinohrady district was built between 1905 and 1915) and trams everywhere. What was - for me - lacking a bit, it was cultural live; OK, there where some theatres, concert halls, but not so vivid, there were no events during the week. On the other hand evenings at Barrio Alto are magnificent and I hope I'll be able to visit this place.
