A few years ago, I have sadly watched as some cartoon shows that I grew up watching in the late 1980's to early 1990's got totally revamped over and many of the main characters getting whole new looks that I just couldn't help but find a bit appalling such as the character Strawberry Shortcake and even My Little Ponies. They totally revamped them over giving them much more slender figures and making them look like they were Drop-Dead Gorgeous especially when they were suppose to be young kids and I found it to be a bad example for the generation of kids today which could lead to more lower self-esteem in kids (just my own opinion that is).

I also grew up watching Batman: The Animated Series, so I remember fully well just what Harley Quinn looked like in her original design of her just using face paint and wearing a two-toned/checkered black and red jester outfit.

Although I never read the comic either as I am not a big DC comic buff like my boyfriend or brother, but I have to admit that after I heard about the new re-launch of DC comics in a whole new light were many of the main characters would get "makeover" and after seeing the newer version of Harley Quinn I am not going to lie. I actually like her new revamp look and her new personality.

Many people from the blogs or comments I found don't like the new look but I think as one described her as in the new re-launch is that Harley Quinn is no longer the Joker's punching bag for him to throw around and because she was able to break away from his "hold" on her and develop into a strong character in her own ways and rights so how could I not like her. I also think her new appearance looks kind of cool as well although her hair does kind of remind me of how Two-Face's hair looked in Batman: The Animated Series when it was two-toned colored as well .

Also I was not that big of a Harley Quinn/Joker fan either...sorry
