Description
This is a scene of Sesshomaru listening to Totosai as he explains the origin of his new sword to him. It takes place right after Sesshomaru's battle with Magatsuhi, he has finally gotten his left arm back along with his own signature sword Bakusaiga that has shown to be even more powerful than Tessiaga and yet Sesshomaru still doesn't seem to be all that happy or proud of it.It kind of stumped me for a while until recently I came across this one other deviant artwork done that really does explain it a lot better than I would and seriously makes you think about it.

Um...Inu no Taisho really messed with this one.
It was the same thing with the Meidou Zengetsuha.

To add to this, I know Inuyasha had it tough but let's be honest, I sometimes think Sesshoumaru ended up being more a victim.

Right, I read that long time ago, and I think thats the truth, good metaphor about our inner strength (or even about love), but it's still enough. Rumiko was so unfair with him, the story was unfair, damn idiot Touga was greatly unfair. I mean, Sesshoumaru left half a life suffering, being abused and training Tenseiga only to give everything to his brother. And I didn't find justification in Bakusaiga's purpose and Toutousain explanation. I ended pretty angry with Rumiko, plus she only made Deux ex Machina in the last chapters and especially in Sesshoumaru's chapters (he made stupid/dangerous/irreflexive actions, he ended wounded, trapped in painfull traps and he was saved by miracles -Inuyasha's powers, Tenseiga's powers, etc.-)

Dude this makes a lot of since, I personally think Sesshomaru getting Bakusaiga was the authors way of trying to justify all the crap Inutaisho put him through.
