My entry for 's Valentine's Day contest. This is a lot like my 'Memories' wallpaper, but with more of a Leroux slant, hence the scorpion and grasshopper.Tell me what you think!

Oo I really like this, but the only thing that's bothering me is, the ring looks really fake. Maybe it's just me, but I can't stop staring at it.The rest of it is really nice and it actually looks like an old photograph! Great job!

Yeah... I wasn't too happy with the ring. I searched through five pages of stock art, and that's the only one that would even remotely work. I might change that eventually... I'll have to see how difficult it is to borrow a ring, so I can get a better picture.

Five pages? Oo. Well what about your parents wedding bands? *shrugs* Oh, and I'm not sure if you can do this with Photoshop, it might look a little fake, but remember her ring said "CD".

My parents' wedding bands have diamonds in them... I have a plain gold ring somewhere that might work.

Oh. Yes it was engraved. A plain gold ring with the letters CD on them. I'll have to skim my book very carefully (I haven't read it in a while) and see what chapter it's in. In the Epilogue, though, Gaston tells of finding the skeleton with a plain gold ring on it's finger. Now that I think of it, the engraving could have been used just for effect... or else that wasn't Erik's skeleton. Dear God, why can't I be satisfied with something and leave it at that? *smacks self* ... *repeatedly*
