Description One of my favorite quotes of all time... I've been growing obsessed with C.S. Lewis lately. I've never read Chronicles of Narnia, but in the past week I've read five of the seven! Hahaha... I've always loved The Screwtape Letters, too.

A lot of my teachers referenced this quote in class this past semester. I absolutely love it! The quote is from his book "The Weight of Glory," which I haven't yet read.

I made this as a desktop background for my computer. Feel free to use; just give credit where it's due!

I actually do mind, because if proper attribution is not given to the artist, then someone else could assume it's a free, public image, continue using it, and I will not receive credit for it. As a growing professional artist, I am trying to grow more in my understanding of reproduction rights and copyright laws. If you would like to discuss this further, please private message me; also please remove the image from the post. I read through the post, and while I support your writing endeavors, it is not fair to appropriate someone's image without credit given to them.

I've never actually finished the book, but I've started it many times! Haha... I did listen to an amazing radio theatre production of it, though it was a little different than the book. I really enjoyed it, though! They added conversation between Screwtape and Wormwood and the story was a lot easier for me to follow that way. I'll find the link to it and message it when I do! It really draws me to Psalm 16:11 which says, "In your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore." Though circumstances may not always be the best, the Lord is infinitely good to His children and loves us incredibly! He is so good and pleasurable, yet humanity is so quick to run to lesser pleasures. But we were made to find enjoyment in God! Blessings!

I know of this pleasure- though it may not be extremely good- there was a time when I woke up from a bad dream and I was overcome with grief and fear- but the presence of the Lord just engulfed me, and I felt HAPPY- More happy than when I think i'm happy everyday :3 God's Love is AMAZING!
