The tail flame burns bright when this pokemon is healthy. If a charmander's tail flame is put out, it will die. In addition to its fiery tail, it has sharp fangs and claws, so handle with caution. Evolves into charmeleon at level 16.

Charmeleon's tail is strong enough to lift a grown man off of the ground. It's tail burns hotter than charmander's. Though rare in the wild, they can sometimes be found in mountainous areas. Evolves into charizard at level 36.
