Description Nihon Aircraft Manufacturing Corporation (NAMC) YS-11 turboprop airliner JA8660 was built in 1966 and delivered to All Nippon Airways (ANA).  It was named Olympia, presumably to commemorate the 1964 Tokyo Olympics.  It was traded to JAL Domestic and Air Nippon before being sold to Gambia Airways in 1992.  As 5C-GAB, it flew around Africa for a few years before being parked at Banjul Airport and slowly stripped for parts.  This model of Olympia is on display at the Tokorozawa Aviation Museum in Saitama Prefecture.  The NAMC was Japan's last airliner until the Mitsubishi Regional Jet (MRJ), which began test flights last week.

It would be pretty fun to fly as an RC model!  Or perhaps on charter tours....
