Sadly the only large surviving vessel from Britain's powerful WW2 fleet. Their Battleships were wasted as were their carriers.

HMS Warspite was considered to be a museum until they discovered that she was in too bad of a material condition. Fortunately, she ran aground before she could make it to the breakers.

Part of her wreck can still be found at low tide next to the Castle in Marazion, Cornwall.

Nice pic. I've been aboard her. However, more precisely, she is of the second variant of the Town type. Edinburgh class.
