HUNOSA Deutz 600mm gauge diesel No. 2 and a pair of minecarts, which would have been a typical train for the interior of a coal mine from the late 1960s onward, sit on a curved track at the Asturias Museum of Mining and Industry (MUMI) in El Entrego, Spain. It is hard to precisely identify the locomotive, but it may be an A2M517G like the nearly-identical Deutz 56779 (built 1958), which pulls tourists on Tren Minero de Utrillas in Teruel. Other A2M517G diesels have been preserved in their native Germany, and they seem to have been a common model in Europe if not also beyond. P.S. there seem to be at least two German terms for a mine railway: Bergbahn and Grubenbahn. Does the terminology depend on whether the mine is an open pit or underground?
