Description One of the statues on Glasgow, Scotland's George Square in front of the city council chambers is this tall equestrian statue of Queen Victoria, which was completed by Baron Carlo Marochetti in 1855 to commemorate Her Majesty's visit in 1849 as a young queen and resculpted in 1866 to its modern form.
