Description
During Railfest 2012 at the National Railway Museum in York, Great Western Railway 4-4-0 3440/3717 City of Truro (first steam locomotive to reach 100 miles per hour?) and British Railways diesel D6700 top-and-tail a short tourist train around the museum railyard. I believe this was one of the last times City of Truro worked, as in 2013 she was withdrawn from traffic due to boiler problems, and in 2015 she was sent to the GWR Museum in Swindon with GWR 6000 King George V. I hope to see them again somewhere next time I can visit the UK. Meanwhile, here's one of my pictures of Railfest 2012, which I edited slightly to look brighter.
