Description
I took this view from near the top of Corfe Castle, Dorset, showing former Somerset & Dorset 2-8-0 No. 53809 departing Corfe Castle station with a train from Swanage on October 15, 2016. I was quite pleased to get both the up and down starting signals in shot, although the sun was ducking behind the hazy clouds. No. 53809 is in her final British Railways livery.Related content
