One to keep you going whilst I get back to normal service. GWR 'Large Prairie' No. 4144 blasts away from Watchet with the 17.15 Bishop'sΒ Lydeard to Minehead train on September 8, 2000. 4144 is a Great Western Society locomotive rescued from the scrapyard at Barry in 1974.Handsome and powerful locomotives, I remember them coming into Plymouth (North Road) station in my youth.
