This is really what art is about...a very stupid comment but I am too moved at the moment to do better.
I have a list of people close to me who had cancer...that didn't survive...it is good to see the other side.

The shapes of this figure are amazing. Is this clay like regular clay? (I don't know it and wonder what it's like)

it is an every day oil clay so it is a fine clay like water based but it has oil and wax in it to bond it together nothing fancy but it get the job done

Really, really amazing. My mom is a breast cancer survivor (both breasts) and this piece really speaks to me. You've really captured this woman's dignity and spirit, and while she is obviously scarred by cancer, she still retains her sexuality in her pose and the pride in her body in the lift of her chin and her hand lifted up, as though she's presenting herself and saying "here I am, aren't I lovely".
Very nice work. Now I have to go see if you submitted more WIPs or if there is a finished version.
