Love the division and distribution that you achieved with the lines, as well as the rupture that the tree makes, without damaging the balance, well done

Thanks for that comment!

Speaking of balance and distribution, I just made a square version (Following RayFalling's suggestion): [link]

What do you think?

Thanks again

Actually I like the original better, I feel the square one's balance and distribution is off, because you don't have enough building to compensate for the tree... what do you think?

I really prefer the original too! It is better balanced, and there is something, don't know what exactly, probably related to the angle of attack which is not natural in the cropped version...

Thanks a lot for the feedback!

Good photograph with interesting subject, could use a bit more colour though. It lacks 'life'

Thanks.

I guess the lack of colour is part of what I love in this shot: one yellow line, one green tree, and that's all! Quite minimalistic!

Its an interesting shot. Theres that contrast between the concreteness and the one patch of green there

Reminds me of Florida ;_; I miss that place.

Anyway, good capture!

btw, it would be interesting to also see a cropped version where you take off the top bit starting with the railing.

That way you'll have a squared image and your eyes will stay where they should be.

Thats a suggestion I hear alot on my work and though I'm not a fan of cropping work, sometimes it really makes them look better.

Of course you should keep this version too

Interesting suggestion! Here it is: [link]

Not sure which one I prefer... I like the "verticalness" in the 1st version... Anyway, I'll sleep on this!

Well you can keep both either way I always keep all versions of pictures I crop.

I did a slight rotation (0.1 degree )... do you feel it's better now? The 2 lines which are closest to eye level seems quite flat.

Anyway I'm glad you like it and thanks for commenting!

i think all the lines that could be straight at the same time are now straight.
and you're welcome
