To be honest, the fact that it's blurry doesn't bother me in the least. I know this might sound a little odd, but to me the slight blur makes it look asthought the railing is moving... kind of like a snake? Like I said, you probably think that sounds odd!

That would be a hard stairway to pass up a shot of.
I've made endless railings similar, so this is great.
It could of been interesting as well at this speed, a person's blur as they moved in the background.
You captured a best of with the lighting at probably 1/8 of a second.

when i first saw this in your gallery it immediately reminded me of setting up dominoes in a line all standing up and knocking the first one down only to watch the chain reaction of them all falling in the line. great capture!, i'm sure you know what i'm talking about.

great shot, its got a really interesting, smooth, flowing feeling to it that's unusual for staircases like these

reminds me of a breaking ocean wave or the swell created by a gust of wind in a field of grain!
another great pic... as with the dome of the Texas photo, I think you exploite the natural beauty most take for granted in structures we pass or see in our everyday lives!

I really like the angle of this photo, and I love staircases. It's nice to see something that's not shot from the middle looking down or up, with the spiral effect.
Thanks for the note, by the way. Any criticism of my stuff would be more than welcome. I don't really consider myself to be a photographer, but I'm trying to get better ...

Wow its still amazing, tripod or not. I love how the stairs wrap around like that they just kind of disappear and drop down at the sides.

oh, I forgot. I wondered if you had ever tried this photo with a right sided mirror image? That would look really cool I think. If you have, or decide to, lemme see!

I love the lighting and the detail on the iron
the fact that it's not very clear is actually appealing to me, adds kinda like a mystery/memory effect?
