you may want to put some kind of clear coat on the blade, the coloring from the heat treating wears away VERY quickly, and just a dab of an (vinegar, lemon juice) will eat it away (learned the hard way)

This is a really gorgeous implementation of the basic Scandinavian knife design. Does it have a sheath yet? I see the very talented Half-Goat is aware of it, perhaps he could construct something appropriate if not.

Hi!
I made a sheathfor it and sold it few years back to hunter how has been usind it for almost everything. The costumer is stil as happy about it as the day he got it.
Unfortunately I do not have a picture of a sheath but it was just brown leather with blackadder pattern.

nice work. what grind is that?? looks like a scandi grind at the tip but a flat grind towards the handle

Blade cross section is almost hollow ground close to the handle, but otherwise Diamond shaped.
